How can I pay for my rental?

DJ’s Rentals accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Checks are accepted on established accounts only. Deposits are taken in cash or credit card.

If you would like us to bill you or your company, it is necessary to establish a charge account first. With proper credit application and approval, a commercial credit account may be arranged. Terms are net 30 days.

When do I pay for my rental?

All payments and deposits are required before the rental item is picked up or delivered. Deposits may be required for any item rented unless credit has been established in advance. Deposit amounts vary per item and are typically refunded when all items are returned on time and in good condition.

Will I need to provide an ID before I rent?

Yes. A valid driver’s license, address, and phone number are required for all rentals. If you or your company has an established charge account with DJ’s Rentals, we follow the guidelines provided by your company.

Do you deliver?

Yes, delivery is available. Charges will be based on the distance from our store to the delivery address. Please call us for a quote.

Can I reserve an item?

Yes. Please call for item availability, and reservations are welcome. Reservations do require payment in advance of the rental.

When does my rental time start and stop?

Your rental time starts when the rental item is picked up or delivered. Your time stops when the rental item is returned or the delivery is called off rent. You are charged for time out, not time used. If you encounter any operational problems, call immediately. No credits or adjustments will be made unless we are notified as soon as the problem is encountered. To get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the due-in date and time on your rental contract.

Can I get a better price if I rent an item for an extended period of time?

On most equipment, a weekly rental is equal to approximately 3 or 4 days, and a month is equal to approximately 3 weeks.

Is rental time different from run time?

Our rate structure for rental items equipped with hour meters is based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month (unless otherwise specified in the rental contract). There may be charges for additional hour meter usage.

Will I be charged for fuel?

Most rental items are sent out full of fuel; we ask that they be returned full. If an item is not returned full, there may be charges for refueling in addition to the cost of the fuel.

What are my responsibilities when I have an item rented?

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from pickup/delivery to return. All items should always be secured and protected. There may be additional charges for missing or damaged equipment, parts, or items.

Do I have to wash the equipment before I return it?

Rental rates are based on all equipment being returned clean. There may be additional charges if rental items require extensive cleaning after the return.

Am I responsible for the damage?

All rentals are made with the understanding that normal wear and tear is included in the rent. However, there may be charges for any damage from misuse or improper care, including tire damage and/or flats.
